The stuffed veal special I had here on Saturday night  (9/24/16) might have been the best veal dish I have ever had in my life.  Huge Veal chop stuffed with prosciutto, cheese topped with mushrooms in a pink sauce. This alone will have me coming back! Pasta dishes were cooked to perfection and the Portabella mushroom appetizer was also very good.

We had the chicken valdostana and the pasta alla vodka. Both dishes were excellent. Appetizers: calamari, baked clams and mozzarella franchese. Incredibly delicious and huge portions. Presentation was lovely. Service was attentive and professional. Harry, the owner, introduced himself and personally checked on our meal and the service several times during the meal. Place was very busy, but our reservation was immediately honored. Decor is so elegant and the place is immaculate. Price was moderate especially for he size of the portions. Will definitely be back with the family too.

I really wanted to like this place, but I can only give two stars. What is keeping the score that high is the food. The chicken parm and Alla Nonna pasta were excellent. One problem was the portion sizes of the family style servings, they seemed small for our table of three adults and two children. The big complaint we had was the poor service we received. We waited for about an hour after ordering to be served. The waiter never came over to let us know why there was a delay, never offered any additional drinks, never checked on us during  the wait. There were tables that came in after us and were served dessert as we were served dinner.  Two people in our party ordered decaf coffee, however the restaurant did not have any decaf. The first check we received was for a different table (I should have paid that one since it was half the amount of our our bill). To top it all off the manager was trying to clean up a spill, slipped and elbowed my wife in the back with no apology.  It is a shame to say we will not be returning anytime soon, because the food was good.
